Math Coach - Katherine Sidney

My name is Katie Sidney, and I have been the math coach at Ebenezer Avenue since 2021. I support students, teachers, and families in building strong mathematical understanding and confidence. My goal is to make math engaging, accessible, and meaningful for all learners. Whether through small group support, model lessons, or working with teachers, I’m here to help foster a love of math and ensure every student has the tools they need to succeed.

My undergraduate degree in early childhood education is from Winthrop University, and I am certified in early and elementary education with a gifted and talented endorsement. I have also earned my master’s degree in Educational Leadership. I have taught 4K, 5K, and 2nd-4th grades.

In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family. My two older children are proud graduates of Rock Hill Schools, and my youngest daughter is a student here at Ebenezer. Go Eagles!
